English Trees

Have Warned in English Versus Anzara in Arabic
This is a new series (1-13) of Verse No. in the Bible versus the Quran.
Verse No. 13 in the Old Testament says that And there was evening, and there was morning, the third day.
Verse No. 13 in the New Testament says that Zerubbabel the father of Abiud (Abihud), Abiud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor,
Verse No. 13 in the Noble Quran says: as to those who disbelieve, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.
------------------------
The verse No. 13 in the Old Testament is Genesis 1:13
The verse continues talking about the creation of the heavens and the earth, it says: And there was evening, and there was morning, the third day.
The verse talks about the third day of the creation of the heavens and the earth, in that day:
God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.
The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
It follows that many plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds grew up in one day, that is the third day of the creation.
------------------------
The verse No. 13 in the New Testament is Matthew 1:13
The verse continues talking about the Genealogy of Jesus Christ, and Matthew lists Jesus' ancestors, the verse says: Zerubbabel the father of Abiud (Abihud), Abiud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor,
Here again, we have the problem of writing the names in the different four versions of the Bible studied.
Fundamentally, the names of the people have no translation, they have to be written as they are pronounced.
The case is true when it comes to a name of a person, whose name is Eliakim or Azor
; both are written as they are pronounced in the four versions studied without any change(s).
But, how come that a person's name in one version of the Bible is Abiud; and in another version of the Bible he is Abihud?
------------------------
Verse No. 13 in the Noble Quran is Chapter 2:1, Surah AL-BAQARA (THE COW), 2:6
The verse says: as to those who reject faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.
As for the disbelievers; who remain firm in their disbelief, alike it is for them whether you (O Muhammad) have warned them (by means of the Quran) or have not warned them, they do not want to believe, as Allah knows very well, It is also said that they will not believe as it is in Allah's knowledge; so do not hope that they will believe and do not be sad about them;
The English "Have warned" is "Anzara" in Arabic
Anzara means to give knowledge of something and simultaneously;
It means to inspire an element of fear of something that is coming up.
This indicates that the Quran which is used to warn the people gives knowledge of something and simultaneously inspire an element of fear of something that is coming up (the Day of Judgment and Eternal Fire that is waiting for the disbelievers in the afterlife).

It is very premature to ask this question:
Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?
Wait and you will see.

Drunken Trees $71.7 Drunken trees, tilted trees, or a drunken forest, is a stand of trees displaced from their normal vertical alignment. This most commonly occurs in northern subarctic taiga forests of Black Spruce (Picea mariana) under which discontinuous permafrost or ice wedges have melted, causing trees to tilt at various angles. Tilted trees may also be caused by frost heaving, and subsequent palsa development, hummocks, earthflows, forested active rock glaciers, landslides, or earthquakes. In stands of spruce trees of equal age that germinated in the permafrost active later after a fire, tilting begins when the trees are 50 to 100 years old, suggesting that surface heaving from new permafrost aggradation can also create drunken forests. Permafrost, which is soil (or rock) that remains below 0 C for at least two consecutive years, forms a solid matrix in soil which can extend to a depth of hundreds of meters. The permafrost prevents trees from developing deep root systems; for example, the Black Spruce that has adapted to permafrost soils has no significant taproot. Looking Into Trees $18.19 Looking Into Trees is the latest collection from the pen of eminent Canadian poet Douglas Lochhead. Drawing its inspiration from time spent looking into trees, between trees, around trees, behind the poets house, the collection evokes the wonderful mystery of trees and the way they confront the contemplative viewer. For Lochhead, the everchanging landscape of trees, their shadows and lights, reflects life itself, the great changes and the small details. Lochhead presents looking into and between trees as a continuing surprise; every hour, every second is different, as light changes and wind moves, leading to reflection on the moods, events, and phases of human life. Lochheads human world is intimately interwoven with its landscape. The work is illustrated with details from paintings by Kenneth Lochhead, the poets brother and one of the Regina Five group of abstract painters who were so significant to the development of Canadas fine arts tradition. Years of the Trees $79.66 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles In J.R.R. Tolkiens Middleearth legendarium, the Years of the Trees is one of the three great timeperiods of Arda. They follow the Years of the Lamps and precede the Years of the Sun, and are known to comprise several Ages, including the beginning of the First Age. Shortly after the destruction of the Two Lamps and the kingdom of Almaren, the Valar abandoned Middleearth and moved to the continent of Aman. There they built their Second Kingdom, Valinor. Yavanna made the Two Trees, named Telperion (the silver tree) and Laurelin (the golden tree) in the land of Aman. The Trees illuminated Aman, leaving Middleearth in darkness. The Years of the Trees were divided into two epochs in Valinor. The first ten Ages, known as the Years of Bliss, saw peace and prosperity in Valinor. The Eagles, the Ents and the Dwarves were conceived, by Manwe, Yavanna, and Aule respectively, but placed into slumber until after the awakening of the Elves. The Marriage in the Trees $20.44 Many of the poems in The Marriage in the Trees, Stanley Plumlys sixth book of poetry, concern the passing of the authors parents. This deeply personal collection demonstrates a mastery of form and language and a wisdom that marks the work of a mature poet, one of our finest.Images of trees and birds dominate these poems. Birds owls, doves, crows, and cardinals whether remembered from childhood or spotted in a rain shower at Union Square, frequently inspire Plumlys lyrical meditations. They serve as symbols of the vitality at the abrupt edges of life. Trees losing their leaves in the autumn, blooming in the spring, providing wood for both a home as well as a casket and cover from exposure stand watch over these poems as they do over the life around us, symbols of permanence amid the transience of life. Memory, history, and family are powerful presences here, the past infusing the present with questions and meaning.The Marriage in the Trees advances Stanley Plumlys standing as one of our strongest and most accomplished lyric poets. Behavior Trees $53.63 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Behavior Trees are a formal, graphical modelling language used primarily in systems and software engineering. Behavior trees employ a well defined notation to unambiguously represent the hundreds or even thousands of natural language requirements that are typically used to express the stakeholder needs for a largescale softwareintegrated system. The amount of detail in the large number of natural language requirements for a largescale system causes shortterm memory overload and may create a barrier that prevents anyone from gaining a deep, accurate and holistic understanding of the system needs. In Vitro Culture of Trees $301.11 Woody plants provide many challenges to the tissue culturist. Although there are many excellent tissue culture books and manuals available, these are generally strongly biased towards herbacious crops. Consequently, they often do not pay sufficient attention to the problems that specifically apply to in vitro culture of tree species. Culture of the latter often poses problems which are either absent or of lesser significance when culturing herbacious species. When trees in the field are used as explant source, the problems can be especially severe. For example, the physiological condition of the explants is difficult to control because of variation in weather and biotic factors. Furthermore, it is often difficult to obtain explants free of contaminants from field grown trees. Lack of genetic uniformity and maturation are additional problems one often has to deal with when culturing tree cells or tissues. These problems are emphasized in this text. In vitro culture of trees is not viewed in isolation. It is considered in conjunction with breeding, traditional cloning and other common tree improvement techniques. The text discusses theoretical as well as practical aspects of the in vitro culture of trees. Author: Bonga, J. M./ Von Aderkas, P. The Role of Trees in Sustainable Agriculture $301.11 Agroforestry reserach and development in Australia has been largely fragmented and many of the research results have never been published and are unknown. The purpose of this volume is to comprehensively review all of the research that has taken place in the field of agroforestry in Australia, including previously unpublished results, providing readers with the latest technical and economic information about using trees in agriculture for the control of salinity and erosion, for shelter and shade, and for the production of timber, fodder and minor forest products. The book provides information concerning planted trees within all of these categories and includes special review of the management of native vegetation on farms. These papers also examine research needs where appropriate. This book stems from the National Australian Conference on The Role of Trees in Sustainable Agriculture which took place in Albury, Victoria, Australia in October, 1991. Each national review paper is based upon a summary of six or more state review research and development papers, prepared specifically for the national conference. The book thus provides readers with a comprehensive overview of agroforestry rsearch in Australia, which is introduced and summarised in the first chapter. Author: Prinsley, R. Elsevier's Dictionary of Trees $275 This dictionary will present all currently accepted generic, specific, sub-specific and variety names of trees, excluding fossil and more recently extinct taxa, hybrids and cultivars. Only the indigenous trees of a continent, those wild species that were natural elements of the spontaneous forest vegetation before the arrival of Europeans or other colonizers, are included. Each generic entry includes the family to which it is assigned, the synonyms of the Latin name, and the English, French, Spanish, trade and other names. For the English and French names the standard name is listed first, followed by other available names with, in parentheses, the countries where they are used. Where appropriate, names in additional languages are also included. Each infrageneric (species, subspecies, variety) entry includes, in addition, the distribution, height, type of foliage, ecological characteristics and main uses of the tree when available. In this volume only taxa indigenous on the North American continent are included, considered in a geographical, not in a political sense. This means from Alaska and Greenland to Panama, including Caribbean, but excluding Hawaii. |

Trees and Shrubs for Noise Abatement $58.7 The potential value of trees and shrubs, as determined from a study of a variety of shelterbelts and urban screen plantings in southeastern Nebraska, appears to be very good. Reductions of sound levels (attenuations) in the order of 5 to 8 decibels are common, and attenuations of 10 decibels (approximately half as loud) are not unusual for wide belts of tall, dense trees. When the difference in level is based on a comparison of treeshrubgrass combinations with hard surfaces, the worth of trees and shrubs is even more evident and attenuations of 8 to 12 decibels are common. Occasional reductions of 15 decibels or greater (1/3 as loud) have been noted but these are attributed to exceptionally advantageous temporary atmospheric conditions. The relative effects of tree species, height and belt width are discussed in some detail. In general, wide belts of tall trees are most effective. Species do not appear to differ greatly in their ability to reduce noise levels, provided deciduous varieties are in full leaf. Thus, evergreens are desirable for yearround noise screening. Relative placement of noise screens between sound source and protected area is of great importance; a screen placed relatively close to a noise source is more effective than one placed close to an area to be protected. Trees Shown to the Children $19.44 TREES SHOWN TO THE CHILDREN by JANET HARVEY KELMAN. DEAR CHILDREN: In this little book I have written about some of the trees which you are likely to find growing wild in this country, and Miss Kelman has painted for you pictures of these trees, with drawings of the leaves and flowers and fruit, so that it will be easy for you to tell the name of each tree. But I think there is one question which you are sure to ask after reading this small book, and that is, How do the trees grow The tree grows very much as we do, by taking food and by breathing. The food of the tree is obtained from two sources from the earth and from the air. Deep down in the earth lie the tree roots, and these roots suck up water from the soil in which they are embedded. This water, in which there is much nourishment, rises through many tiny cells in the woody stem till it reaches the leaf, twigs, and green leaves. As it rises the growing cells keep what they need of the water. The rest is given off as vapour by the leaves through many tiny pores, which you will not be able to see without a microscope. While it is day the green leaves select from the air a gas called carbonic acid gas. This they separate into two parts called oxygen and carbon, The plant does not need the oxygen as food, so the leaves return it to the air, but they keep the carbon. This carbon becomes mixed in some strange way with the water food drawn from the soil by the roots. Forming a liquid, it finds its way through many small cells and channels to feed the growing leaves and twigs and branches..... Author: Kelman, J. H.
